At first I wasn’t too impressed with how this was coming along. But the more I got stuck into it the better it became. I thought the colours were to much, but once it dried a bit the colours settled down. All watercolours dry lighter than when applied, so it can be difficult to predict how much pigment / water ratio to add. They say it takes years to learn watercolours and I’ve been at it since 2011, still learning. By Artist Sophie H.
